Server/Data Center to Cloud Migration Information

Unfortunately, at the moment there is no automatic way of migrating the app to the Cloud. The Atlassian Migration Assistant does not support third-party apps, so they must be configured manually.

The following elements need to be migrated:

• Global settings will have to be recreated manually.

• Filters that are used with the app are saved as regular Jira filters, so they can be migrated by Jira itself.

• Dashboard gadgets must be recreated. However, you can use the Import/Export Configuration feature to simplify the process:

  1. On your Data Center instance, open the gadget configuration and click Import/Export Configuration
  2. Select Export to Clipboard to copy the gadget configuration
  3. On your Cloud instance, add the gadget to your dashboard
  4. Open the gadget configuration and click Import/Export Configuration
  5. Select Import from Clipboard to apply the saved configuration
